By David A James
An unusual project. It is based on a great love of Shakespeare.
I was impressed by how well the sounds and words worked together. Shakespeare’s language rhythms can often be quite robust and unsuitable for music.
It rolled over us; the music, its history, the puns and even a reminder of how vulnerable we all are and then out we came, back to the sun’s warmth.
It is a rich delight
Maybe it's because I'm getting older, I'm finding enjoyment in things that stop time. This play is fantastic, very funny and very clever work.
